Founder of Homeopathy in Malaysia Prof. Dr. Burhanuddin al-Helmy (1911-1969)

Homeopathy was brought in and introduced to Malaya by Dr. Burhanuddin al-Helmy upon his return to Malaya in 1929. He graduated from Ismaeliah Medical College, New Delhi and studied Homeopathy from Dr. Rajah in Singapore.

He obtained a postgraduate degree in Master of Medicine in Homeopathy (MDH) from Chistiya College, Ajmer, Indis in the year 1941. He obtained a second Ph.D in Homeopathy from the International Academy in Canada.

He started homeopathic clinic with the assistance of Dr. Rajah one in Jalan Pichitan in Singapore and the other one in Johor Baru. After the war, he founded three centers where he taught Homeopathy in Singapore.
