ACUTE RESCUE : A 6 month old cute, fair baby girl is brought by the mother-" 3 days ago, she was vaccinated for Hep B, for 2 days after that she was very cranky and irritable, today-see she is so dull, she's never like that, cried for an hr or so in the morn, she has fever too, even though mild, she's warm to touch, hands, face, feet, all warm to touch. For a week before the shot ,she was being given Triamanic syrup( for cold, ), thrice a day. For the past 15 days she is not able to suckle milk too, and for the same period of time, is also having 3-4 loose stools, but not watery. No cough , no cold, not thirsty too."
