MANI NORLAND

I grew up with homeopathy all around me; I have not been vaccinated, I have had the measles (I was sent to a measles party!), mumps and chicken pox - all were treated homeopathically. I suffered from eczema when I was young; it too was treated with homeopathy and it has never came back. I can count the times I have been to the doctors on one hand; I am rarely sick. Born in 1971 and brought up by a hippy turned homeopath (Misha Norland FSHom), lets just say I had an healthy and alternative childhood. In a bid to escape the rainbow clothes I made a break for London and the design industry. I worked for many of London’s leading agencies doing design, branding and strategy consultancies for ten years. I enjoyed the work, I had a lot of fun, I got out of holey clothing, but ultimately my past was catching up with me and bigger ideas were brewing. I had dreams that involved helping people not businesses. I wanted to enrich lives not wallets. I wanted to give something back at a more meaningful level. So I went full circle and back to my dad and enrolled on his homeopathy course at the School of Homeopathy. I soon learnt that many of the concepts in business and branding are not so dissimilar to Homeopathy - both are about the well-being of an organism, both are about the discovery of a central state or idea and the healthy expression of that state. I trained at The School of Homeopathy, which my father founded in 1981, it is the longest running School in the UK and we have students in over 80 countries - where else was there! I have to say my father don’t I! And that would be true, as a child Misha and I had many inspiring, deep and philosophical discussions. But to then train formally at the School of Homeopathy and be taught by him was a joy and something I will always remember. I love homeopathic philosophy and Misha is one of the world’s best teachers when it comes to that! I would like to see multi-disciplinary clinics funded by governments, in the UK these would be National Health Service (NHS) clinics, where patients are given a choice of healthcare solutions to meet their individual health needs. Homeopathy would be one of those choices. This would open it up and give more people greater choice.

Dr. Louisa Owsley - the first female homeopath doctor of Denton county in Texas.

She practiced homeopathic medicine and was a skilled midwife - delivering over 4,000 babies in her 34 years career. One night in a bad storm, on her way to a new born delivery, her horse-cart was swept off the bridge; she and the horse both drowned. She was 75 years old. I Love Homeopathy, Iman Nava

Homeopathy was brought to the United States (beginning in 1825) by several doctors who had studied in Europe. They, in turn, converted other doctors to homeopathic practice. Slowly schools were established, and a medical organization was formed. By the mid-1800’s, several medical colleges existed

It is one thing to assemble all the diverse symptoms of disease, but quite another to be able to pick out those peculiar ones which also interpenetrate the others. Hahnemann said that a paucity of symptoms or the presence of an overshadowing one point toward suppression. Here the life force seems ab
