In 2900 BC - the Chinese Emperor “Fu His” made reference to Ma, the Chinese word for Cannabis, that was very popular medicine that possessed both yin and yang. The earliest document is found in the 15th century BC Chinese Pharmacopeia. In around the 5th century, people had carried knowledge of this medicine to Persia and Arabia from China and India. In ancient Greece, Cannabis was used as a remedy for inflammation. In African tribes it is used for its antiseptic properties. Cannabis for medicinal purposes also exists in the Homeopathic Materia Medicas and were also mentioned by many homeopath pioneers like Boericke, Kent and Allen, for its medicinal values!
