PHILOSOPHY: SAMUEL HAHNEMAN
253. In acute diseases the first positive changes are usually mental├óÔé¼ÔÇ£ a freedom of mind, higher spirits. The opposite is seen in an aggravation.
254. The observing physician will note these changes while the patient might not.
255. If you go through the case point by point and notice no changes in symptoms, but the patient├óÔé¼Ôäós disposition is better, the medicine might just need more time to act, there might be an obstacle to cure, or the dose was not small enough.
256. If the patient has new symptoms├óÔé¼ÔÇ£ signs that the medicine was not correct├óÔé¼ÔÇ£ but says he feels good, we must not believe it.
