Papadoodals the Greek
Had raging toothache which was eased
by pressure on the painful cheek,
But when the wind was in the East
His racking pains and stabbing stitches
Assailed his head and membranes serous.
From top to toe, neath cap and breeches
The slightest movement made him fear as
Motion made his pains much worse.
And since he could no longer roam
He lay in bed and raved to nurse
