A lady of 42 yrs presented with pain and soreness in the right lower wisdom tooth area for the past 2 days, with difficulty in chewing from that side and while swallowing food , drink or saliva, the pain causes her to wince. The pain is constant and sore, not the jabbing kind. On inspection, the gum around the last molar was swollen and reddish and the anterior pharyngeal arch too bears some inflammatory signs. Hot drinks are not tolerated, they cause throbbing, cold drinks are more comfortable, but do not relieve pain entirely. Initially she also had the ‘ teeth feel long sensation’. The night when this pain began she had a chilliness whole night creeping on her off and on. Now who can apply a potentised remedy homoeopathically to rescue her. Can you ?
