REMEDY OF THE DAY: ACONITUM LYCOCTONUM. Linn.
Aconitum telyphonum, Reich, wolfsbane.
This aconite does not containe aconitine, so resembles
those of the aconite in some respects but has very marcked
absence of cutaneous-nerve affections so prominent in
the provings of others.
This aconite has swelling of the cervical axillary and
mammary glands, scrofulous glands, and even in
Hodgkings disease when the is suspected.
Diarrhea after eating pork, intolerance to pork meat.
Itching of eyes, nose, anus, vulva.
Skin cracks especially at nose. Cough leaving
a blood taste at mouth compression and drinking wine.
Bluish ulcerated gums.
Mouth clayey astringent taste
Desires fruits and cabbage, tobbacco in smokers.
Aversion to food in general especially fatty things and
milk causing uneasiness.
Keen hunger very soon satisfied, constant thirst even
after drinking
